Each summer, the San Diego Aerospace Museum offers AEROSUMMER, a series of week-long programs for first through twelfth grades. Students build and fly model airplanes, launch model rockets, explore the museum, visit an airport control tower, and participate in a host of other exciting activities.
Tuition discounts are given to museum members, and scholarships are available for economically disadvantaged students. Also, programs are coordinated with other Balboa Park organizations to offer full-day experiences for students in the Park.
AEROSUMMER 98 is currently scheduled to offer 9 week-long programs between the middle of June to late August.
Parents: Don't wait to register your student for our summer programs - AEROSUMMER 97 was sold out by May 3! Call 234-8291, ext. 19, to get on our mailing list for advance notice of the AEROSUMMER 98 schedule or watch this page for updated information.
